Our Purpose

We're a social enterprise on a simple mission: to give young adults the personal leadership tools they need to thrive. By sharing the kinds of leadership development usually reserved for adults, we help young adults build real agency — the tools to know themselves, work with others, and make their mark on the world.

Our Team

Scott Bolton

Coach | Co-Founder | CEO

Scott Bolton came to teaching through Teach for Australia and has spent the past 15 years figuring out how young people grow, in classrooms across Australia, the U.S. and the U.K.

Scott has led curriculum, coaching, family engagement, and student wellbeing and social-emotional development across multiple schools and contexts - be it serving on the founding school leadership team that built an award-winning Melbourne high school from the ground up, or in one of England’s independent co-ed day and boarding Prep schools.

Scott holds a Master of Education in School Leadership from Harvard University, where he was a R.G. Menzies Scholar, and a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne.

He is a local dad himself, raising two young kids in Melbourne's inner north.

Dr Zid Mancenido

Coach | Co-Founder

Dr Zid Mancenido is a Harvard researcher, and school-system leader whose work focuses on identifying and scaling evidence-based approaches to improve how students and educators learn and grow.

A former high-school history teacher before moving into research and policy, Zid holds a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne and a PhD in Education from Harvard University, where he is also a part-time lecturer.

He has led international research in the science of learning, initial teacher training, and the use of evidence in policy. His work has taken him from Australia to Singapore, the Philippines and the US — and he now advises whole school systems on how to give every student a better shot at thriving.

Zid and his husband are big travellers, and have made homes across multiple continents.
