The world is getting more complex every day.
Our next generation needs leaders who can build communities that make the world a better place.
Capable Education gives teenagers the foundational tools to meet the challenges of the future.
Across a few focused days in the school holidays, young people learn about and practice using science-backed tools that help them become more confident and impactful young leaders. With a cohort of high-achieving like-minded peers, they’ll gain a better sense of who they are, how to build a community around them, and what mark they want to make in the world.
A bit about the experience…
Our programs are interactive, hands-on workshops, where teenagers practice using the exact same leadership tools and habits used by some of the most authentic and impactful leaders around the world. Each day, you'll build up your personal leadership toolkit through fun but challenging real-world case studies, debates, and simulations. You'll also take science-backed quizzes that help you identify your strengths and unlock your personal leadership style.
2 Day Year 8-9 Capable: Leadership Foundations
-
Figure out what actually makes you you. You'll map your strengths, your values, and the stuff that quietly drives you (plus the blind spots you can't see yet) — so you leave knowing yourself well enough to lead yourself, before you ever try to lead anyone else.
The science behind it: VIA Character Strengths · PERMA · Emotional Intelligence · Johari Window -
Turn who you are into what you do. You'll pick up real skills for connecting with people, and set a personal goal that actually matters to you — then learn how to make a plan and drive real change, instead of just hoping things happen.
The science behind it: COM-B Model · Self-Determination Theory · Science of Persuasion
3 Day Year 10–11 Capable: Leadership Program
-
Get honest about who you are and who's been writing your script. You'll map your strengths, values, drivers and blind spots — and start telling the difference between what you actually think and what you've just absorbed from everyone around you. That's where real self-leadership starts.
The science behind it: VIA Character Strengths · Constructive-Developmental Theory · Johari Window -
Learn to read the room and move with people, not against them. You'll get practical at understanding what makes others tick, handling the tricky conversations, and getting people on board — the difference between having a good idea and actually making it happen with others.
The science behind it: Emotional Intelligence · Seven Principles of Persuasion · Social Network Analysis -
Take on something real. You'll look hard at a change you want to make, work out what's actually holding it (and you) back, and build a plan to move it — stepping up from leading yourself to leading in your community.
The science behind it: Immunity to Change · ADKAR · COM-B

More confidence in themselves and what they’re capable of.
The ability to work well with others and build communities of support.
A rough plan for the mark they want to make in the world.
A like-minded cohort of young adults eager and able to make a difference.
