Capable runs 2-3 day personal leadership programs for young people during school holidays. The programs are focused on equipping young adults with skills and tools for knowing themselves, building their community, and thinking seriously about the contribution they want to make.

Capable programs are for all kinds of young people.
They're for the self-starters — those who are already captaining teams, leading school committees, or organising things in their community, and who want to push themselves further and sharpen the way they lead.
They're just as much for those who are still figuring things out — who aren't sure yet what they're good at, what they care about, or who they want to be. The ones who might not put their hand up first, but who have plenty to offer once they find their footing.
And they're for everyone in between. We've designed our programs so that someone confident and someone quieter or more uncertain can sit in the same room and both walk away having grown — because character and self-leadership isn’t about being the loudest or the most accomplished. It’s about knowing yourself, backing yourself, and learning how to show up well for the people around you.
If you are curious, open to trying something new, and somewhere in the age range for the program, you’ll fit right in.

Our curriculum is based on rigorous research on leadership, young adult development, and behavioural science. Participants get introduced to science-backed skills and tools across the themes of knowing yourself, collaborating well with others, and working out what contribution you want to make in the world. They then get the chance to put these tools into practice through activities and challenges, all while forming connections with other like-minded young people in their cohort.

We understand that sometimes plans change, people get sick, life throws a curveball. If you need to cancel your spot in one of our programs, here's how we'll handle it:
More than 14 days before the program starts — you'll get a full refund
Between 8 and 14 days before the program starts — we can refund 50% of what you paid
7 days or less before the program starts — unfortunately, we're not able to offer a refund. By this point we've locked in venues, ordered materials, and confirmed our facilitator team, so the costs are already committed
To cancel, just email us at hello@capableeducation.com.au and let us know. We'll confirm your cancellation and get any refund moving.
If we cancel the program
In the rare case that we need to cancel a program ourselves — whether that's low enrolment, illness in our team, or something outside our control — we'll refund you in full.
Transferring your spot
Can't make it but know another teen who'd love to come? Get in touch — we're usually happy to transfer your spot to another child, as long as we know before the program starts and they meet the age group.
